I wrote this song for a mid-winter concert I had entitled 'Stories to Light the Dark'. The melody and some of the lyrics came to me as I was bushwalking. Every winter, my extended family and some friends go camping in the spectacular National Park in Crowdy Bay (on the east coast of Australia). This particular morning I was returning from a sunrise ocean swim (my amazing yogi sister-in-law inspired me- I am normally a wimp.) Feeling invigorated, the chorus and some of the verses came to me as I walked along.
